Dismiss The Human Rights Lawsuit, Yahoo Asks The Court
Yahoo tried hard to get along with Chinese authorities and and the result was a nasty lawsuit filed against it by the World Organization for Human Rights USA. The Internet giant clings to its argument that it had to comply with the request of the Chinese government and asks he US District Court for Northern California to dismiss the lawsuit.

As it follows, the World Organization for Human Rights has decided to sue Yahoo, Hong Kong-based Yahoo Holdings and Yahoo’s Chinese partner Alibaba.com on behalf of the two journalists.
In the mean time, Yahoo argues that it merely acting according to the Chinese laws and, therefore, US courts are definitely not the place for such a case.
