The new trial will last for 10 days of roaming around the frozen wastes of Northrend, wielding the necromantic powers of the new death knight Hero class, taking control of massive siege vehicles in the new open-world PvP zone of Wintergrasp, and the usual “much more”.

In the end, some may feel eager to take a swing at the dread Lich King Arthas himself. We’d advise some caustion though, because this guy doesn’t really have a sense of humor. He’s like, you know, dead serious.

Those willing to participate will need the following:
– World of Warcraft full version
– The Burning Crusade expansion pack
– a character of at least level 55 (to create a death knight) or level 68 (to explore Northrend
