The team responsible for the failed presidential campaign for John McCain managed to make sure everyone see them as professionals.

A Fox news reporter has been able to purchase two BlackBerry devices featuring sensitive information. Around 50 phone numbers of people connected to the campaign were discovered to be still available on the device, as well as hundreds of emails.

The two phones have been sold alongside many other mobiles and laptops used during the presidential campaign. If all these devices have been wiped clean the way the two BlackBerrys have been, one can only imagine what sort of embarrassing information might pop up in the near future.

A statement from the McCain team reads the following:

“It was an unfortunate staff error and procedures are being put in place to ensure that all information is secure.”

Fox News reporter paid $20 for each of the BlackBerrys.
