The silver medalist in the Most Content top is Entertainment. The category features almost 14% of all Apple Store content: 3,682 downloads.

The third spot goes to Books, with 2450 downloads (9%)

All in all, Apple’s virtual store features a total of 27,131 downloadable apps. Most of the content (20,972 apps – 77.3%) is available for download in exchange for a fee, while free apps are only a minority in the fruity empire ( 6,159 apps – 22.7%)
