The news comes straight from Valve’s marketing VP, Doug Lombardi. Gamekings reports him saying that Left 4 Dead will be launched in North America on November 18. The European release is set to take place 3 days later, on November 21.
Incidentally or not, the release is set on the 10th anniversary of the original Half-Life launch.
However, Lombardi forgot to mention if the release date is for the Xbox 360 version or the PC one. With no additional details coming up, we’ll suppose he meant both.
There’s was some talk about a PlayStation 3 version that could end up in the works. No official statement has been made yet, so Valve must be still unconvinced that porting the game to Sony’s console would be a very good deal.
