US Army Invests $50 Million In Gaming
Uncle Sam has big gaming plans: the US Army will invest $ 50 million over five years in its newly created video games unit.

"We want to take advantage of that, but we don’t have the intent to become a competitor with the commercial gaming industry," Lt. Col. Gary Stephens told Stars and Stripes. "We don’t have the intent or capability to be a commercial game house."
Apparently, gaming is considered to be a big plus in the training process. It seems that besides the above-mentioned $50 million, the Army’s gaming units also got an additional budget for the purchasing of “video game system that will be fielded for training in February.”
