The information comes straight from Paul Oughton, publishing executive for Bethesda. During an interview for Gamesindustry.biz, he outlines Bethesda’s future plans:

"At the moment we’ve got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there’s a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010. At the moment we’re not that interested in the Wii. We’re going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. We’ll continue to pursue three or four titles a year and go for big titles."

So no Wii adventures for the time being. Such a statement was to be expected, especially since Bethesda specializes in hardcore, lengthy games such as Oblivion, while Nintendo’s console proved to be more appealing for users just looking to have fun with much simpler titles.

The PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are just what the marketing ordered for the company. Still, it remains to be seen how will plans be changed in the future and a special Wii department will eventually be created at Bethesda’s HQ.
