It’s a good marketing move to launch a limited issue of your product every now and then. Sony, for instance, promises to release a metallic blue PlayStation Portable, wll tied up to the Madden NFL 09.
The new console will be part of the limited-edition Madden NFL 09 bundle, which is set to be released on August 12. The price tag, Sony said, will read $199.99.
The Madden pack will have the blue console share the same room with the following items:
– a copy of Madden NFL 09
– a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo
– the latest PSP bundle packs
– an UMD disc featuring Warner Bros. and NFL Films’ NFL: In Just One Play
– a voucher to download Beats from the PlayStation Network
Madden NFL ’09 will be released in a true Electronic Arts manner, meaning that the game will also find its way onto Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo Wii and DS.
