The recently renegotiated deal may not seem like much of an impact from the outside perspective, but it has laid the ground work and kick started our future project, as well as the possibility of a unique new IP by Infinity Ward, that we’ll have complete control over."
Sound most promising, but don’t hold your breath until you get some more news on this one. Infinity made it quite clear that is gonna take a while before coming up with additional data:
"We’re excited to be working on our next project, but it’s going to be quite a while before I can share any details on exactly what that project is."
We over here have our doubts about the "complete control" that Activision will give Infinity. Still, we’re hoping to see some a new IP emerge from their labs and not the future setting of a CoD game, as some nasty rumors have it.
