Well, every iPhone user living in America, to be exact. As always, the world-wide release came to a sudden half thanks to international copyright restrictions on book sales.
Users lucky enough to have a US Kindle account will be able to download the app on their device and wait until all the e-books previously purchased on Amazon are being fetched to the iPhone. Also, they will be able to read samples and order new books via their Apple phone.
Kindle for iPhone also supports auto-bookmarking and Whispersynch, enabling users to find their place in a book even after having transfered the text to a different device.
The Kindle Reader is available for free and offers access to a library of 240,000 books.
