Blizzard has yet to confirm the date, but World of Warcraft database site Wowhead is already busy offering 10 beta keys, plus a huge ad on its front page. Previously, the World of Warcraft add-on was known to be scheduled for release during the second half of 2008. November falls right in the holiday/mad shopping season, so the date might actually be the right one.
Well, it’s a long two-months before the expansion allegedly arrives in stores, so let’s take a look at what is Blizzard planning to pack in this one:
– Playable Hero class: Death Knight
– Quest to level 80
– Profession level cap raised to 450
– New profession: Inscription
– A new continent of Northrend, the icy domain of the Lich King
– Mighty siege engines and the complementary destructible buildings
– New character-customization options, including new hairstyles and dances
– New dungeons and new creatures
– A non-instanced Battleground
