The information popped up during this year’s Blizzcon, where WoW Production Director J. Allen Brack held a small press conference and had to answer a very delicate question.
It all started with an interesting discovery made by fans while browsing through the data files of the Wrath of Lich King beta: a button reading "Paid Character Customization." WarCry Network reports:
“Brack initially hesitated to give any answer at all. Several questions later, he went back to the matter, saying that he could, in fact, confirm that World of Warcraft would eventually have some form of paid character customization, though they themselves hadn’t yet worked out any details.”
It’s hard to say at this point what Blizzard really has in mind. Will it be “pay for custom looks”? Or maybe “purchase special armor/ sword/ mount”? Time will tell.
