When the new release will pop up online, users will be able to "connect" their Facebook identity, friends and privacy to any site. Also, Facebook stresses out that Connect will now enable third party websites to implement and offer even more features of Facebook Platform.

Facebook Connect will feature an enhanced authentication; users who choose to connect their Facebook account with any partner website only via will be able to to authenticate and connect their account in a trusted environment. The user will have total control of the permissions granted, Facebook notes.

Furthermore, Connect enables users to bring their real identity information (basic profile information, profile picture, name, friends, photos, etc.) with them wherever they go on the Web.

On the other hand, Facebook promises that the user’s privacy settings will be the same wherever he surfs, so his or her profile will be constantly up to date. So, if a user changes the profile picture, the pic will also vanish

Last but not least, Facebook said that users will be able to connected to their friends all over the Web, as developers will be able to dynamically show which of their Facebook friends already have accounts on various sites.

Facebook Connect will be available within the next several weeks.
