"McAfee protects consumers on the PC, Web and mobile platforms and with the introduction of this new anti-theft category, we are offering consumers an important extra layer of security for their PCs," said Todd Gebhart, senior vice president and general manager, consumer, mobile and small business. "With McAfee Anti-Theft, we are extending our security offering beyond traditional malware protection to providing consumers with comprehensive online and offline protection, giving them the peace of mind that their PC files are safe and secure."
Users can also create multiple vaults per PC so that those sharing a computer can have their own personal vault. Also, if a password is forgotten it can easily be reset by simply answering a number of verification questions created by the user.
