A ten years old girl finds flaws in mobile games

Numerous mobile devices may be exploited by a new vulnerability discovered by a ten years old girl by the name CyFi.

The vulnerability, presented  at the DefCon hacker conference held in Las Vegas, consist in advancing the clock on a tablet or phone, which  open, in many games, a loophole that can be exploited. The bug was discovered by CyFi after she get bored with the pace of farming games and start seeking ways to speed them up.

CyFi said, while addressing the kids section of the conference: "The world of apps has obvious not thought about security, yet. Here is an import lesson they can learn from a Girl Scout. I'll show a new class of vulnerabilities I call TimeTraveler."

The vulnerability has been verified by various security researcher groups and individuals. The vulnerability is present with both Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android.
