Pirate Bay Takes Over Domain From Anti-Piracy Group
If you happen to work for the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), this is just not your week. The ifpi.com domain is no longer your property.

“It’s not a hack, someone just gave us the domain name. We have no idea how they got it, but it’s ours and we’re keeping it,”one of the administrators of The Pirate Bay told TorrentFreak. “International Federation of Pirate Interests (IFPI) is the new international federation we’re starting in order to get the word of piracy spread.”
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry still runs ifpi.org, but that's little consolation. Chances are that the IFPI will ask ICANN to get involved in the matter and give the .com domain back. With no information on how exactly did The Pirate Bay manage to get hold of ifpi.com, it's hard to tell whether the anti-piracy group stands a chance or not.
However, if I were them, I wouldn't let ifpi.org out of my sight. You never know...do you?
