McAfee Buys Hacker Safe Company For $51 Million
ScanAlert will bear the McAfee flag from now, the latter company announced. The terms of the deal will have McAfee pay $51 million in cash with a possible bonus of $24million if certain objectives are met.

ScanAlert, previously a privately owned company, is the company behind the "Hacker Safe" kitemark used to certify ecommerce websites. The company is headquartered in Napa, California, and employs 130 people.
