Mass Effect is coming on PC on May 28, so it was about time Bioware sent word about the what sort of system you will need in order to get the game running.
Before we get down to figures, it's worth noting that Mass Effect Config program will automatically adjust the settings on first run, so the players would get “an optimal play experience.” Given my past experience in the field, I advise everyone to play at least a little bit with the settings, because there's every chance for improvement.
And now, here are the system requirements for the game (as posted by BioWare Community Manager Jay Watamaniuk):
