Lenovo Slashes Prices On The IdeaPad S10 Netbooks

Recession won't leave companies fool around with prices: Lenovo announce severe price cuts for the IdeaPad S10 netbooks.
The news comes only after a couple of days after the release of the large capacity version of the netbook.
According to the company site, the price cuts apply as follows:
- black and white models retail for $399 (previous price: $449)
- color netbooks (pink, red, blue) now retail for $ 409 (previous price: $$459)
The IdeaPad S10 netbooks come with the following basic configuration:
- Intel ATOM Processor N270 Single Core ( 1.60GHz 533MHz 512KB )
- 10.2 WSVGA AntiGlare TFT with integrated camera 1024x600
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
- 1 GB PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz
- 160GB HDD
- 3 Cell Lithium-Ion battery
- Windows XP Home Edition
