Jack Thompson Gets Disbared
The (in)famous anti-gaming attorney will be known from know on only as anti-gaming. The Florida Supreme Court decided that Thompson had no place withing the Bar.
September 26, 2008
Thompson can still file for a rehearing motion, but only if he find a member of the Florida Bar who's willing to sign that filing (so now we know who's the star in the next Mission Impossible movie).
In the mean time, Thompson is eager to fight the judicial system once again. Or so he claims in a rather odd press release:
“This past Friday Thompson filed a federal civil rights action against The Bar, the Supreme Court, and all seven of its Justices. This rush to disbarment is in retribution for the filing of that federal suit. With enemies this foolish, Thompson needs only the loyal friends he has. [...]
Thompson always wanted to own a Bar. Now, armed with multiple US Supreme Court rulings that no state bar can do what it has done to Thompson, he is set to own that Bar.”
No further comments should be necessary.
