Users proved to be quite unhappy with the new telescoping list of files featured in the Stacks feature for the Dock. The update will allow users to revert (if they like) to the previous behavior, which had folders showing up as hierarchical menus, as well as adding the sorting abilities introduced in Stacks

Also in the “improvements” department, the update enables the user to replace the translucent menubar with a solid, grayish one.

However, the list doesn’t end here. In fact, it seems to go on for quite a while. We listed several of the other highlights down below, with the entire list being available over here:

– AirPort – improves connection reliability and stability
– Mail – numerous bug fixes and better handling of SMTP servers
– RAW image support for several new cameras
– Safari – patches a security flaw that affected only Leopard’s version of Safari 3
– Third Party Apps – Improves general stability when running third-party applications
– Addresses issues in which some external drives are not recognized by Time Machine
– Addresses an issue in which the incorrect search results may be displayed for certain Automator Find/Filter actions
– Fixes an issue that may prevent changes to the email address for permission requests
