60 GB Xbox 360 Arrives In Europe
Published on Games  |  August 11, 2008, 15:13

The Xbox 360 Platinum bundle is getting a solid update: the 20GB console will be replaced with a 60 GB one.

The new offer comes into effect starting August 15. The price will remain the same, Microsoft stressed out: Euro 269.99.

“No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver and we know consumers need increasingly more and more space to store the amazing digital entertainment content we provide” said Neil Thompson, senior regional director of Microsoft’s entertainment and devices division. “Now the Xbox 360 has triple the space to house all your entertainment needs at no extra cost."

The Xbox 360 is available in three flavors in Europe. Aside from the Platinum version, Microsoft also offers the Arcade pack, which comes with a 256MB memory unit, five Xbox LIVE Arcade games and a price tag of Euro 199.99. The most expensive Xbox 360 version is the Elita pack, featuring a 120 GB HDD and a price tag of Euro 369.99.
